The Real Estate Board of New York Announces 2025 REBNY Annual

NEW YORK, NY –The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the city’s leading real estate trade association, today announced it will host the REBNY Annual on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Now in its 129th year, the REBNY Annual once again welcomes the biggest names in real estate – as well as public officials and labor leaders – to The Glasshouse, one of the city’s most in-demand venues with breathtaking waterfront and skyline views.

“Real estate is inextricably tied to the health and welfare of New York City. The REBNY Annual provides an incredible opportunity for us to gather with our partners in government, labor and economic development and discuss the future,” said REBNY Chairman Jed Walentas.

“For 129 years, REBNY has led New York City’s real estate industry, and their annual celebration marks the kick-off for another successful year in 2025.”

“We are thrilled to gather industry leaders and our many civic partners for another incredible REBNY Annual that will celebrate our industry’s important contributions to New York City and offer guests some of the best food and drink our city has to offer,” said REBNY President James Whelan.

“By bringing so many important stakeholders together in one room we hope meaningful relationships can be strengthened for the future of the city we all love.”

As in recent years, the 2025 REBNY Annual will feature a cocktail hour and formal dinner featuring culinary offerings from some of New York City’s top chefs, with curated selections from leading restaurants including Chef Daniel Boulud’s Le Pavillon and Bar Boulud and Chef Hillary Sterling’s Ci Siamo.

The event will also continue to put a spotlight on REBNY’s annual honorees – the recipients of the most prestigious awards in New York City real estate.

The annual honorees will be announced in October and REBNY will recognize their incredible work in the months leading up to the event.

A portion of proceeds raised by the REBNY Annual will go to funding social impact initiatives. This includes increasing diversity and inclusion in the real estate industry through efforts such as the REBNY Fellows Leadership Program in partnership with Coro New York. REBNY’s social impact work also helped vastly increase the number of real estate internships this summer through New York City’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP).

Additionally, REBNY members' ongoing support of the non-profit Building Skills New York connects New Yorkers from historically underserved communities with good construction jobs and career opportunities.
